Ascension : News From St Mary's Church
Submitted by The Islander (Clive & Jenny Duncan) 19.02.2009 (Article Archived on 05.03.2009)

FAMILY SERVICE, SUNDAY 1 MARCH 2009 - Children are invited to bring a toy along to this service and as usual these toys will be sent to St. Helena that will bring joy into the hearts of the children who will benefit from your generosity

Once again we are most grateful to Johnny Green and members of his band as they will be providing the music for this service.

We hope that you will come and join us as we give thanks to God for the many blessings we receive from him and are able to share with others who are less fortunate than ourselves.

This will be the last Sunday for a few of our friends who will be returning to St. Helena on the RMS St. Helena after spending a few months here with their families.  It was a pleasure having you worshipping with us in St. Mary’s.  As you leave us you can be assured of our prayers and best wishes and a happy reunion with your families back home.

CONFIRMATION PREPARATION CLASSES.

These are planned to start shortly.  Please give me a call on 6431 or call in at the Vicarage if you would like to take part in these classes.

Have a good week.

Canon Clive.
