Ascension : Church News
Submitted by The Islander (Clive & Jenny Duncan) 12.02.2009 (Article Archived on 26.02.2009)

It is always a surprise to receive a card, letter, email or a telephone call from a friend we have lost contact with for months and perhaps years.

It is always a surprise to receive a card, letter, email or a telephone call from a friend we have lost contact with for months and perhaps years.  It goes to show how easy it is to loose contact with people we have come to know and establish a close relation with.

We all have made friends with a number of people and also lost a number of them over the years.  However, it is good if we can maintain a relationship by keeping in touch by whatever means is available to us.

Today we can thank God for these wonderful people and as we remember them in  our prayers we can also let them know how much it means to us to have them as our friends.

Have a pleasant week.

Canon Clive
