ASCENSION:
Not a bad week with very few showers affecting the Airhead and Georgetown but Green Mountain and Travellers getting more than their fair share.  The Storms in the North Atlantic have been sending Northwest swells south Across the equator to affect the North coast beaches, and this will continue for a few weeks to come.

ST. HELENA:

Still a few light showers affecting the Island but generally becoming warmer (though this weeks max is a little lower than last weeks) with more sunshine developing. Still some light showers around Thursday and Friday but these were light.

UK:

A rather unsettled week with Strong to Gales force winds on Monday  followed by a period of widespread freezing fog on Wednesday then strong winds and heavy rain on Thursday and Friday  with Storm force winds affecting western Scotland on Saturday.

FALKLANDS:

An unsettled week with warm northerly winds on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday then the Falkland weather systems almost mirroring the UK as severe storm developed on Friday and Saturday and brought storm force winds to the Islands and turned the weather cold once again.

The first thing I do in the morning is smile –It saves me doing it the rest of the day – WC Fields

I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any!

I went to the butchers and I bet him 50 quid that he couldn't reach the meat off the top shelf. He said, "No, the steaks are too high." My friend drowned in a bowl of muesli. A strong currant pulled him in.  I went to a seafood disco last week...and pulled a muscle. I went to the Doc and told him “I can't stop singing The Green, Green Grass of Home." "That sounds like Tom Jones syndrome. " "Is it common I asked? " "It's not unusual."

I hope that lightened up your day!
