Ascension : Brownies, Rainbow's & Guides Coffee Morning

The Coffee Morning in Aid of the Cancer Support Awareness Charity and our Guiding units here on the Island, which was held on Saturday 29th November at the Saint’s Club Cinema Hall turn out to be another year of success.

The Coffee Morning in Aid of the Cancer Support Awareness Charity and our Guiding units here on the Island, which was held on Saturday 29th November at the Saint’s Club Cinema Hall turn out to be another year of success.  The total amount raised was £571.42. 

 

The sum of £292.21 has been sent to St Helena Cancer Support Awareness Charity’s.  The remaining balance will be deposited into an account for guiding events.

 

I would like to thank the Manager of the Saints Club for allowing us to use the premises and to all who help in any way.  There are too many names to mention but you know who you are.  Thanks also to those people who kindly donated cakes etc to the Coffee Morning.  Your help and donations are greatly appreciated.

 

The raffle of the Cake went to Mr Alex Turner of Serco.

 

The multi raffle of Island Souvenirs was won by:-

1st Place Mr David Clarke with Ticket No 17, Sheet No 43

2nd place Joseph Birkett with Ticket No 7, sheet No 29

 

The guessing of the number of sweets went to Mr Timothy Leo, who guess 150 and the correct number was 141.

 

The winner of Guessing the name of the teddy was Miss Nicola Dillon.
