MESSAGE

I was quietly amused to see the article from the Grotto about clearing WARPATH.  When I was CBFASI in the early 90s, the then C of E padre, Father Nicholas, spent much time clearing WARPATH.  It seems to be a combined church project spread over a couple of decades.

It was one of my favourite walks and I can remember is quite clearly.  I could enjoy another walk along it!

LADIES CHARITY DINNER IN AID OF ORCHID – 08 NOV 08

It seems so long past now, but all who took part (in any form) ‘YOU’ raised a whopping £2,003.03.  My heartfelt thanks to you all.

I must apologise to Hilary Peters, Tracie Thomas, Moira Peters, Zara Hudson and Penny Bennett, who could not join us (through work or illness) but still donated their money.  My sincere thanks.

To Tony Hiorns who made so much, if not all, possible, my deepest thanks.

It leaves me to mention Tessa Yon (who gave me the idea), Errol Duncan (for doing the hard work – running) my sincerest gratitude to you both and thanks for giving me an excuse to Party!

I hope you all enjoyed the evening and lets hope, Ladies and Gentlemen, we will be able to repeat the evening next year.
