On the afternoon of Wed 5 Nov a dozen or so RAF volunteers,

predominantly made up of Air Movement Flight as well as HQ personnel, congregated on Dead Man's beach to do some much needed work on behalf of the Conservation group in preparation for the turtle nesting season.

Although very little man made litter was found, the group worked hard pulling up countless weeds and nettles which can hinder hatchling getting to the beach, eventually clearing the whole beach.  All in all a good few hours work with over 20 sacks of organic rubbish filled;

Cpl Mark Hayes taking the honour of most rubbish collected.
