Ascension : News from St Mary's Church
Submitted by The Islander (Clive & Jenny Duncan) 23.10.2008 (Article Archived on 06.11.2008)

Many thanks to all who brought gifts for our Harvest Festival.

It goes to show that we are living up to our Christian responsibility to share our gifts with those who are less fortunate than ourselves.  We are most grateful also to those

who donated fruit, flowers and other items for decorating the church for this special occasion.

Service for the month of November.

Sunday 2 November is All Saints Day.  There will be a celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 10.30 am and not the usual Family Service.

9 November, Remembrance Sunday.   10.55 am   Service of Remembrance.

                                                               7 pm          Holy Eucharist.

Have pleasant week
