WELCOME TO OUR YOUNGEST READER………….

WELCOME TO OUR YOUNGEST READER………….

First I would like to say what a joy it was to have James Edwards, one of three people confirmed by Bishop John on Sunday 7 September 2008 reading a lesson, not for the first time, last Sunday morning.   He is now one of our regular readers and can look forward to hearing him again a few weeks time.  Well done James.   I would like to think that you have paved the way for some more young people to come and choose what they would like to do in the church.

We will be having our Harvest Festival on Sunday 26 October.  For the past few years we had live music provided by Johnny Green and his group.  Unfortunately, as some members of the band are off Island at this time, we will not have them for the Harvest Festival this year. However, Dave, will be there to operate “George” and trust that you and your families will join us for a Songs of Praise followed by light refreshments.     All gifts received will be sent to St. Helena

Enjoy you week

Canon Clive
