This past month saw many visitors to our Conservation Office.

This past month saw many visitors to our Conservation Office. Tara Pelembe JNCC, UK, Dick Beales former Director of DFID, Anna Balance Director of DFID, Clare Miller RSPB South Atlantic Invasive Species Project Officer, Vanessa Thomas and Lourens Milan, Species Recovery team from the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, in transit to St Helena. Phil Lambdon’, Botanist, and Tom Belton Weed Ecologist, is carrying out plant Survey studies here on Ascension.
Our team was extremely pleased with the interest shown of the good work that is being done and ongoing by Ascension Island Conservation Department. Danielle Yon, our Youth Trainee Worker is very keen, and is involved in all aspects of the flora and fauna of Ascension.
