Ascension : Police Activity Report

It has been a relatively quiet week for the Ascension Police Detachment, a total of four reports were received and dealt with, which were of the following nature:-

It has been a relatively quiet week for the Ascension Police Detachment, a total of four reports were received and dealt with, which were of the following nature:-

On Wednesday 17th September 2008, a report of a driver who failed to comply with a road traffic sign were received, the driver was seen and given a verbal warning.

On Thursday 19th September, a road traffic accident occurred at the Pierhead, the accident was of a very minor nature and there were no personal injuries.  The driver was given a verbal warning for driving a motor vehicle on a road without due care and attention

There was also a case of a person using a Motor Vehicle on a road without a policy of Insurance, which is now under investigation.

On Saturday 20th September, a request for Police assistance was received.
