LAND CRABS TAGGED…

More than 50 land crabs have been tagged on Ascension.   What does a tagged crab look like?  Well, the tagged crabs will have a black numbered cable tie about halfway down their right claw.  So far, crabs have been tagged on NE Bay Road, Green Mountain Road and NASA Road.  If you are interested in learning more about land crabs or volunteering, please ring the Conservation Centre at x6359.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Are you interested in learning more about Ascension’s sea birds or seeing more of the island?  Volunteers are needed to help with our sea bird monitoring walks for the next 3 weeks. Please ring x6359 for more information
