THE Works and Services Department of AIG recently installed some new equipment at the Two Boats Playground.
The project was completed by teams from the New Works and Maintenance and Public Services Sections and was managed by Nicholas Herne.
The installation of this equipment completed another of the approved jobs under the Capital Programme 2006/07, which also included the construction of the Skateboard Park in Georgetown.
The ex-Island Council approved the 2006/07 Capital Programme and the equipment was chosen by them while still in office.
The new equipment has been a great improvement to the existing playground at Two Boats and has proved very popular with children in the local area.
In addition to installing the equipment, the team also erected a shelter to provide shade for Mums and Dads and, of course, tired tots.
