at the request of the USS Constellation Museum in the United States, is holding a memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony at the grave of their crewmember,

at the request of the USS Constellation Museum in the United States, is holding a memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony at the grave of their crewmember, Steven Bayard Wilson, Jr., at Bonetta Cemetery, on June 2, 2008 at 6:30pm.   Steven Wilson was lost to Yellow Fever, on June 2, 1861, at the age of 19 years, while serving as a member of the USS Constellation.  The ship was involved in the fight against the West African slave trade.  Members of the public are welcome to attend.  Please gather in the Comfortless Cove parking area at 6:20pm.
