Ascension : Forums In The UK

Kedell Worboys, the St Helena Government UK Representative, is planning to set up some discussion/information sharing forums in several geographical locations in the UK over the coming months for “Saints” to participate.

Kedell Worboys, the St Helena Government UK Representative, is planning to set up some discussion/information sharing forums in several geographical locations in the UK over the coming months for “Saints” to participate. These will enable Saints to discuss topical issues on the island and any issues affecting St Helenians collectively in the UK.


 


She plans to start with a meeting in London, hopefully on 21 May when HE Governor Gurr can also attend. To enable an appropriate venue to be booked it would be helpful to have an idea of the number of people interested in attending. The timing is likely to be early evening.


 


The London meeting will be followed by meetings in Swindon and Portsmouth.  Separate notices will issue about these meetings in due course.
