VT Communications has a vacancy for a full-time Cleaner. The post holder is responsible to the Building Maintenance Supervisor for the cleaning of technical and non-technical areas of our Transmitter sites and Power Station including offices, tearooms, toilets, storerooms, control rooms and transmitters halls, windows and occasionally cars, minibuses and other tasks as required.
The post is offered on a single status forty hour per week contract basis with ensuite accommodation, messing and annual passage to the UK or St Helena provided. The salary is £7,340 and subject to local Income Tax as applicable.

• be able to prioritise tasks and work without supervision.

• be of strong character, comfortable in a semi-industrial environment.

• have good Health & Safety awareness.

• a car driving licence.
