NEW PROJECTS!
You may have noticed a bare square of land near Palmer’s Farm on the way to the NASA Site. This Lower Windy Ridge site is home to an experimental plot of the Ascension spurge, Euphorbia origanoides. The Conservation Department is collaborating with Alan Gray from the Edinburgh Centre for Ecology and Hydrology to investigate the survival and fecundity of the plants in relation to climate, altitude and soil treatments.

Reminder: Please take extra care when driving down North East Road at night. Remember that the land crabs are making their breeding migration and will be crossing the road. Thank YOU!
