Last Wednesday The Royal Gibraltar Band helped the Conservation Department with a beach cleanup and path clearing. The band started in the morning at Deadman’s Beach, where they spent two hours clearing Mexican poppy from the nesting beach. In the afternoon, the band headed up to Green Mountain, where they did a fantastic job clearing Elliot’s Pass. Many thanks are extended to the Royal Gibraltar Band for all of their hard work. Another thank-you goes to Leroy Bacchus and Kelly Mulhall who also helped out on Deadman’s Beach.
