News From St. Mary's

Dear Friends

In addition to the usual mid-week celebration of the Holy Communion, there will be a celebration on Saturday, 1st November at 8.m. it being the feast of All Saints. Monday 3 November is the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed, Holy Communion will be celebrated at 7 p.m. If you would like to have a deceased relative or friend remembered at this service you can either forward their names to me or enter them on the list which you will find at the back of the church.

To-date I have received the names of three persons who would like to be prepared for confirmation. Classes will start early in the New Year. If you are contemplating confirmation please get in touch with me as I will accept names up to the end of December.

The Youth Organisations will not be on parade this coming Sunday (of course we shall miss them) but look forward to having them on parade for the Service of Remembrance of 9 November. Wouldn't it be nice if they had a band to accompany them on parade!!

Have a good week.

Canon Clive.
