Ascension : TWO BOATS SCHOOL NURSERY CLASS VISITS THE QUEEN ATLANTIS
Submitted by The Islander (Ascension Island Government) 05.07.2007 (Article Archived on 19.07.2007)

On Monday afternoon, AIG Commercial Services were visited by Two Boats Nursery Class as part of their “Pierhead” Topic.

The Class gathered at the bottom of the Pierhead as a boat ride on the Queen Atlantis had been planned.  All twelve keen little sailors were life jacketed up, and boarded.

Once onboard everyone was eager to look out of the windows and see Ascension from a different view.  They passed the pontoons, which they had learned about during their lessons.  Different areas of the Island were also pointed out.

The boat stopped at Comfortless Cove where the children enjoyed a light snack and then it was back to the Pierhead.

From all of us at AIG Commercial Services, we hope everyone enjoyed their trip and will visit us again sometime”
