ASCENSION:

The week started cloudy at times with occasional showers and almost all of the rainfall being observed during the first part of the week.  There has been plenty of sunshine since then however and it has been hot with temperatures reaching 30 or 31 Celsius every day.  More of the same to come this week.

ST. HELENA:

Another mainly cloudy week in St Helena with occasional drizzly showers and a moderate southeasterly breeze.  Any sunshine was fairly limited although they did see some brighter spells during the afternoons.

UK:

The UK has been enjoying beautiful weather for April this week with high pressure bringing settled conditions and light winds. It has been mostly sunny and very warm during the daytime but temperatures have fallen quickly after dark under clear skies with frost and fog patches forming.  No significant change expected over the next few days.

FALKLANDS:
