ASCENSION:
A typical week in summer with lots of sunshine and only one or two showers, mainly Wednesday night when the Residency measured 6mm.
ST. HELENA:
After a mostly cloudy start to the week it became brighter from Thursday onwards with the majority of the 28 hours of sunshine being recorded then, with Saturday being the warmest day of the week.
UK:
A cold northerly blast at the beginning of the week, which gave Brize a couple of nights with frosts and some snow, was replaced by some sunshine midweek, although it was still cool for the time of year. It did warm up a little by the weekend although it was mostly cloudy.
A breezy start to the week but generally sunny and this was reflected in the temperatures. It again became windy over the weekend, which also saw a lot of cloud and the majority of the rainfall.
