ASCENSION:
A glorious week’s weather with a good deal of unbroken sunshine culminating in a scorching afternoon temperature of 32.7 C on Saturday in Georgetown. This week will see rather more cloud, some showers and slightly higher humidity.
ST. HELENA:
Following a very showery day on Monday the rest of the week was pretty reasonable with plenty of sunshine and just a sprinkling of further showers, these mainly early and late in the day.
UK:
Another very mild but rather wet week has occurred albeit much of the rain fell early in the week and mainly in the north and west. Temperatures have been as high as 18 Celsius in places over the last weekend.
Autumn is well and truly established now down on the Falklands with frequent showers of rain and hail and occasionally of snow. In between the showers though there has been some pleasant sunshine.
