A vacancy exists in the St. Helena Police Service for a Police Constable to serve with the Ascension Detachment.
This advert is extended to persons in the United Kingdom, Falkland Islands and Ascension Island, who are serving officers or who have served as police officers.
Applicants should have a good command of English both written and spoken. They should be highly motivated and in tune with modern policing.
Salary for the post is graded at Level 3 commencing at £4,368 per annum, in addition to current salary an allowance is also payable. The post can either be accompanied or un-accompanied. Accompanied post will receive an allowance of £5026 per annum and un- accompanied will receive an allowance of £2688 per annum. Accommodation will be provided.
The post is offered for a period of two years in the first instance and subject to renewal.
