ST. HELENA:
After a fine start to the week it remained fairly cloudy till the weekend when prolonged sunny spells pushed the temperature upto 23.5 C. Only 22 hours of sunshine was recorded during the week.
UK:
Although high pressure was mostly in charge over the UK with this week, cloud and rain, occasionally snow affected the north as well as eastern coastal areas. These made a couple of intrusions further inland giving several centimetres of lying snow on Wednesday morning across Southern UK.
