Ascension : The Met Office Weather Report
Submitted by The Islander (Met Office) 30.11.2006 (Article Archived on 14.12.2006)

A fine start and end to the week but a miserable middle, especially the higher up the mountain you went with the Residency having over 50 millimetres, possibly the second wettest week this year there?

ASCENSION:

A fine start and end to the week but a miserable middle, especially the higher up the mountain you went with the Residency having over 50 millimetres, possibly the second wettest week this year there?

ST. HELENA:

Although no official data from our limited reports it looked like a showery start to the week but a fine weekend when temperatures rose to 20 Celsius.

UK:

A very mobile week weatherwise with mostly westerly winds bringing mild temperatures and frequent rain. Rainfall above 25 MM was reported every day, Snowdonia on Monday but Scotland after that, but also temperatures reached at least 15 C everyday.

FALKLANDS:

A dry week but never very warm because of the cool winds coming mainly form the south to west quarter.
