Ascension : Apology
Submitted by The Islander (Met Office) 30.11.2006 (Article Archived on 14.12.2006)

Dear readers of the Islander. I would like to apologise unreservedly if the "firework" joke I included in my Metchat article last week caused anyone any offence.

I will in future refrain from including any comment or joke which could be deemed offensive to any minority in any way. I would like to reassure people that my intention was only to raise a smile and certainly not to offend.

         Yours sincerely,

                                Dave Strachan.
