ASCENSION:A showery start to the week, then the sun came out on

Wednesday with an increase in the wind. The conditions then lasted for

the rest of the week. The showers returned on Saturday as we said a

fond farewell to Graeme, who departed on the Saturday night flight, but

will be returning to these shores again next year.

ST. HELENA:A rather cloudy week & quite windy, especially on Wednesday & Thursday.

UK:A fine & sunny week in the UK but those car drivers without garages panicking as they got up early for work trying to find last years de-icing spray or something sharp to scrape the frost off their cars.

FALKLANDS:A changeable westerly flow throughout the week, often windy.
