ASCENSION:

A few light showers at the beginning of the week, then mainly dry until Saturday night and Sunday morning when showers became more frequent for a time across the Island.

ST. HELENA:

A pleasant week with some sunshine and the odd light shower. Winds were unusually light from mid-week onwards. Temperatures around normal for the time of year.

UK:

A generally warm week with some rain, especially in the south. Some of the highest temperatures occurred in the Scottish Highlands at the beginning of the week, with temperatures reaching 24 degrees Celsius. Across England, the very high pollen index was responsible for a greenish cloud visible on Satellite imagery and a deposit of yellowy green powder was seen on cars.
