ASCENSION:

The temperature at the Airhead touched 30 degrees for the first time this summer. A fine week, with long periods of sunshine even being reported at the Residency!

ST. HELENA:

Another mixed bag typically cloudy over night but sunny during the afternoon. Occasional showers, especially on Friday and Sunday morning where some heavy showers occurred over parts of the Island, indeed some damage was reported to properties near Sandy Bay and a flash flood damaged the road.

UK:

High pressure at the start of the week gave way to a strong cold northerly wind for a couple of days mid-week, which brought snow and ice to the north and east. High pressure returned briefly towards the weekend before wet and windy weather spread from the west on Sunday.

FALKLANDS:

Pressure for much of the week was high leading to reasonably settled conditions. Temperatures still on the cool side for summer though.
