Serco Defence and Aerospace is looking to train and employ a fire-fighter at the Ascension Island Base.  The post is unaccompanied status.

We will:

• Train you in the UK to MOD and Home Office standards


• Provide free food and accommodation

• Give you 25 working days holiday.


• Pay for 1 trip to either St Helena or UK per year.


• Free Uniform.

Interested candidates will need to:

·        Have Fire Service Experience

·        Demonstrate excellent team working skills

·        Be between the age of 18 and 35 years

·        Possess a sound educational background

·        Be physically fit and not suffer from vertigo or claustrophobia

·        Have good vision without the use of spectacles/contact lenses

·        Hold a full driving licence
