ASCENSION:

The “wetter than average” theme continues over the Island, most of the showers were overnight although a particularly heavy shower crossed Ascension during the early evening on Tuesday 22nd.

ST. HELENA:

A little more sunshine than of late, quite breezy though with the odd gust reaching around 30 KT most days. Temperatures near normal for the time of year.

UK:

The wintry spell of weather continued with large parts of the UK seeing the first snow of the winter, quite unusual before Christmas. The snow was quite severe in parts of SouthWest England with over 500 cars abandoned on Dartmoor at one point.

A reasonable spring week if a little cool at times. Several fronts resulted in above average rainfall for a change. The winds were relatively light for much of the time.
