Ascension : St MARY’S CHURCH
Submitted by The Islander (Clive & Jenny Duncan) 10.11.2005 (Article Archived on 24.11.2005)

WEEK- END CELEBRATIONS.

Another week- end of enjoyment and celebrations has passed.  We can sit back, or should I say, the organisers of the bonfire on Long Beach on Saturday evening can sit back for a while and relax  and take consolation  from the fact that their hard work brought enjoyment to a large number of people.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY.

Next Sunday we will be remembering once again all those who gave their lives in war so that the peoples of this world might enjoy  freedom and peace.

A Service of Remembrance will take place outside St. Mary's and those who are attending are asked to be seated by 10.50 am.

ASCENSION DAY FAIR MEETING.

Meeting will take place  in the Children's Church on Tuesday 15 November at 7 .30 pm.  We look forward to your attendance.

Have a good week.

Canon Clive.
