ASCENSION:

Much of the week was fine, with most places seeing some good spells of sunshine. However, it turned unsettled again overnight Saturday into Sunday as showers moved across the Island from the southeast. These unsettled conditions then persisting for the rest of Sunday and into Monday.

ST. HELENA:

The week also start off dry on St Helena, and although there was a lot of cloud around, there was also some sunshine. However, it turned more unsettled later in the week, with some quite sharp showers being reported.

UK:

Very unsettled an at times windy, as active Atlantic weather systems moved across the U.K. The best day of the week was Tuesday, as a brief area of high pressure gave most places a spell of dry weather with some sunshine. The wettest place was Capel Curig which is in Snowdonia, and here 91 mm of rain fell between Thursday and Saturday.

FALKLANDS:

It was also rather unsettled across the Falklands, with spells of rain, interspersed with brighter showery conditions. It was also very windy at times, especially during the early part of the week, as strong northerly winds affected the islands. However, during the second half of the week, winds turned into south and it became colder.
