We all gathered outside B9, Georgetown this week. The runners and walkers were separated at the starting point, the walkers headed for the beach, whilst the runners were sent on a chase towards Cross Hill, when they got to the Island Club a juicy back arrow awaited them, early start eh!! The on-on was then towards long beach with the rest of the hounds, just before we got to the Beach Hut we had a little rest at our first circle check, once again we were separated, runners going left and the walkers heading right.
The view along the sea front was beautiful and then we seemed to have lost the hash for a while, but were soon back on track. After the rocky bits we were then faced with the steep, Hanky Spanky and Scar Face might have chosen the wrong group, they both seemed to be having a little trouble, no running this week!! Hanky Spanky we can understand why but Scar Face what was your excuse?
Eventually we made it to the top and then across the land heading back towards Cross Hill, we soon came to some loose rocks on the way down causing Woods Wrecker to get down on all fours. The on-on now led us to the top of the Island Club, once everyone had caught up at the circle check we headed down hill back to town to B9.
Finally we all made it back, the grill was lit and a great barbecue followed, everyone enjoyed the delicious food. Then came the moment we all had been waiting for “Circle Friendship Time” the circle was drawn and three sorry souls were invited in, after much anticipation Ann was named Show Us Your Tats, Brian was named Unlucky Stripper and Keith was given the name Floppsie. Just when we thought that it was the end of the naming Finger Lickin Good and Pearl Necklace were called to the circle and was renamed Wallace and Grommet, they both appeared to be very honored with their new names. The party continued and everyone had a good time.
Thanks for a great hash Chief Pimp, Colonel Klinka & 100 Watt!!!!!
