ASCENSION:

Another disappointing weeks weather on the Island with a good deal of cloud on most days and a fair number of showers. A lot of the showers did occur at night, but rainfall totals in most places were the highest since early September. Unfortunately there were some showers for the Long beach bonfire night, but it did little to dampen the spirit of most present, and a good night was had by all.

ST. HELENA:

Another cloudy week in St Helena, but apart from a few showers it was fairly dry although rather breezy.  Sunday was the best day of the week with some sunny spells helping temperatures up to 19.5 Celsius.

UK:

Nothing much to report from the UK this week. It started off mostly dry but became more unsettled from Tuesday onwards. Not a particularly cold week either, although overnight temperatures did fall to minus 2 Celsius in a few places on Monday and Thursday night. The wettest day of the week was on Saturday in the Outer Hebrides where 25.8 mm of rain was recorded.

FALKLANDS:

A better week in the Falklands with temperatures at last beginning to rise (a sizzling 14.9 Celsius on Saturday). After some rain and showers early in the week it became mostly dry with some pleasant spells of sunshine by day.
