Ascension : Letters of Thanks
Submitted by The Islander (Gavin Yon) 11.11.2004 (Article Archived on 25.11.2004)

Letters of thanks from Gary Preston and the Tasker Family

I would like to take this opportunity to say a final farewell to everyone on the Island.  I have been here for almost 3 years and have had a truly fantastic time.  The island is certainly one of the world's best kept secrets.  To all those who I have worked with and to all my friends, I say that I will always remember my time here with great affection.  A particular farewell to John and Gill, Stan, Howie and Stan, I will miss you all.

Once again thanks your friendship and farewell, it's not goodbye, I hope to back at some time in the future.

Gary Preston - alias Boggy

Bryan, Lesley, George and Elliot would like to thank everyone who made our, all too brief, break in Ascension Island such a fantastic time.  We had non-stop fun as expected.  It was great catching up with all our friends.  Everyone on the Island made us feel back at home.  Special thanks go to Ron for suffering us the whole week - "Get those Knees sorted Ron! and Thanks".

It is unlikely we will be able to get out there again after January, but there is always Christmas!?.  Best Wishes to All our friends there and everyone at Ascension.
The Taskers
