Editor’s Comment

We have been blessed these last few weeks with the extended coverage of the World Cup…. The bizarre elimination of defending champions Spain remains one of the tournament’s biggest shocks along with England being the first team to have been knocked out of Group D.

Well done to all the children at Two Boats School for your exceptional work in creating your dinosaurs.

Just a small edition this week

Happy Reading

Casey

Tom Foote, a long time resident of the US air base from the late 80's into the 90's passed away peacefully at his home in Jasper, Alabama, United States. Tom loved the island and always wished that he could return to live there after his retirement. He worked as a welder at the base. He enjoyed campouts at the pines near the old NASA site, hiking, fishing and gardening. He grew some awesome Habanero peppers.
