Families going home to their Mother Church

The Anglican Church of

Saint Mary the Virgin

Mothering Sunday Service

March 30 at 10.30

Families going home to their Mother Church on the fourth Sunday in Lent has been a

tradition since the 1600’s

The children would pick wild flowers along the way to place in church and some to give to their mothers. I remember many years cycling out into the Warwickshire countryside to pick bunches of wild violets for my mother.

Mothers are special, why not spoil your mother this Sunday?

We are going to give thanks to God for all mothers this week at our Sunday Service

Come and join us!

Rev Don

     Q.   What would life be like without a mother?

     A.   Don’t know, without a mother I wouldn't exist.

The Church is always open for personal prayer and meditation.

Vicar: Reverend Don Wittich—Telephone 6431

Church Wardens: Mervyn Isaac 6230, Alan Nicholls 6232, Dave Wood 2675
