Interserve requires the services of a Stores Chargehand to work at the Travellers Hill office and a Fuels Operative to work at the petroleum storage depots.

Stores Chargehand

The successful applicant will work in a small procurement team as a primary source of contact responding to enquiries from the public and employees, receiving and storing cargo, checking and ordering stock, updating a computer database and deputising for the Stores Supervisor.

If you are self motivated, computer literate, a good communicator and team leader, and want to be part of an organisation delivering excellent services then we want to hear from you.

We will pay a competitive salary, overtime rates as applicable or schedule time off in lieu. Hours of work are 45 hours Monday to Friday plus 5 hours on alternate Saturdays.  The contract duration is 27 months single status with 74 days leave excluding weekends and paid passages to UK or St Helena.  Free accommodation, catering services and work clothing will be provided.

Fuels Operative

The successful applicant will be involved in Aircraft refuelling operations, Petroleum Storage Depot operations and works at Catherine Point and the Airhead.   Technical training in the UK and site familiarisation will be provided.  

If you are physically fit and not suffering from vertigo, have a colour perception of CP2, holds an A, B and preferably J driving licence, have excellent team working skills and are computer literate please contact us.

We will pay a competitive salary, overtime rates and schedule time of in lieu. Hours of work are flexible and equivalent to working a 47.5 hour week. The hours are likely to include evenings, weekends and public holiday working which are dependent on Aircraft movements. The contract duration is 27 months single status with 74 days leave excluding weekends and paid passages to UK or St Helena.  Free accommodation, catering services and work clothing will be provided.
