Ascension : NEW JUSTICE OF THE PEACE APPOINTED

On Tuesday 19th June 2012 at the Administrator’s Office in Georgetown, a new Justice of the Peace was sworn in.

On Tuesday 19th June 2012 at the Administrator’s Office in Georgetown, a new Justice of the Peace was sworn in.  Mrs Lorna Cook was appointed Justice of the Peace by HE the Governor on 15th June.  Before commencing to exercise the powers and perform the duties of the office of Justice of the Peace, she was required to take the prescribed oaths before the Administrator, Mr Colin Wells.
