Dear Readers, It is with great sadness and a profound sense of loss that we learn of the passing of two dear friends to Ascension - Sharon Wainwright and Eddie Robinson.
We are still reeling from the shock of Sharon’s sudden passing. Our friend Eddie who worked on Ascension for Cable & Wireless for many years passed away after a long period of illness. The people of Ascension would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of both Sharon and Eddie. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
My apologies for the slim read but whoever said that “no news is good news “obviously did not edit the Islander. I promise a bigger paper next week when time and news will allow!
