Ascension : Hash Thrash - Hash No, 1360

A family friendly hash was promised as it had been set by two of the youngest members of the hash.

Hares -  Warpspeed, Uncle Will, Mirror Poser and Buzz Lightyear

Hounds – Dipstick, Boy Racer, Sharktail, Menoporche, Uncle Fester, Wood N Pecker, Mucky Princess, Hash Howler, No Idea, Nerdy Head, Sporty Shorty, Short Change, Unstable Rider, Baby Mohawk, Gumpy Two Scoops, Gok Wan, Cat Walk.

A family friendly hash was promised as it had been set by two of the youngest members of the hash.

The on on was set at a brisk pace up the track to the first circle check.  After Uncle Will had cheated on his ten press ups (actual count was either 3, 6 or 7 depending on whom was counting) and a mouse had been chased by the children the on on headed cross country to the prominent balancing rock on the skyline.  Mirror Poser had decided it was the magical chair from Harry Potter and a well earned rest was enjoyed by the little ones taking it in turns to sit in it.  Hash Howler was intent on climbing to the top and was disappointed when he was told it was time to return to the cars.

Baby Mohawk enjoyed the view from Unstable Rider’s back (although looking a little bemused with the proceedings) and even managed to walk from the final circle check.

When all were accounted for the on on headed home.  Again there were two options on the way back, either follow the route that had been taken on the way up or over the edge cross country as the crow flew.  Everyone took the latter option and at a more sedate pace headed home which at the end saw hands and knees through the thorn trees and Guava bushes and Unstable Rider crawling on his backside to make it through without blinding himself.

Back at base hash business took place with the naming of Uncle Will as Pole Vaulter.  Boy Racer was up to her usual tricks making sure that he got a neck full of ice cubes.  His holiday now over he will be back to join the hash later in the year.
