Just before Ernie left St Helenian Jimmy Young, who has been a friend of Ernie’s since the day he came to Ascension Island

Just before Ernie left St Helenian Jimmy Young,  who has been a friend of Ernie’s since the day he came to Ascension Island presented Ernie Matisz with several gifts on behalf of all the people here on Ascension Island and St Helena as a token of appreciation for all his charity support work for St. Helena.  He was presented with a St Helenian Clock, an Ascension Island Tray, A selection of unique spirits made in St Helena and several other gifts.

A huge thank you to all those people at CSR who so generously contributed towards the gift for Ernie.

Ernie said –“ I am proud that I have been recognized and I wish all the people of Ascension and St Helena good luck, I thoroughly enjoyed doing Charity work for the Island”.
