Ascension : Messages to The Islander
Submitted by The Islander (Islander Editors) 11.11.2010 (Article Archived on 25.11.2010)

I enjoy reading about your island and the weekly "islander". I have one question: each week there is an article under "sport" called HASH.

I enjoy reading about your island and the weekly "islander".  I have one question:  each week there is an article under "sport" called HASH.  What kind of game is this?  Is this a team sport of some kind?  Is there a score or a winner and a loser?  Are there teams of some kind? I read it carefully but I don't understand the game.   I appears to be maybe a running race?  Can you give me a brief explanation?   Thanks, Steve
