Ascension : Fares Increase On South Atlantic Airbridge

Following notification from the Ministry of Defence that fares on the South Atlantic Airbridge are to increase by approximately 10% with effect from 1 November,

FARES: UK TO ASCENSION AND VICE VERSA

1^st NOVEMBER 2010

Following notification from the Ministry of Defence that fares on the South Atlantic Airbridge are to increase by approximately 10% with effect from 1 November, the following are the new fares for travel between Ascension and Brize Norton. (Fares include the administration fee which at the same time increases from £30 to £32).

The Ministry of Defence has said that it will honour bookings for the period after 1 November accepted by AIG and FIG prior to 16 October, at the previous prices. This will include the Christmas bookings already made.

Notes

1.     Children under 2 years of age                 Travel free (provided they do not occupy a seat).

                                                                                Sky cots are provided free of charge.

2.     Children aged 2 and over                                         Full Adult Fare

3.     Bookings less than 14 days notice                          Seats must be requested from the RAF, there is no guarantee seating may be available

4.     Bookings between 14 and 10 days notice             No additional charge on standard fares

5.     Bookings less than 10 days notice                          Additional £30 charge on standard fares

6.     Cancellations more than 10 days notice               Cancellations or change of flight will be charged a fee of £30 per person

7.     Cancellation more than 10 days notice  Full refund minus £30.00 per person

8.     Cancellation less than 10 days notice    No refund

9.     Amendments less than 10 days notice                  All requests/amendments (other than to itinerary), will be charged an amendment fee of £30 per person e.g. request for aisle seat, vegetarian meal etc .These amendments exclude changes of flight, which shall be treated as a cancellation and re-booking.

FREIGHT

Standard rate                                                                       £3.05 per kilo

Excess baggage rate                                                          £10.00 per kilo
