The date set for the General Election is the 3rd November 2010.The day for nominating who you would like to represent you on the Island Council is Tuesday 19th October 2010.
When completing a nomination form, please make sure of the following:
The names of the candidate, the proposer and the seconder should be on the Register of Electors.The signatures of the proposer and seconder should be witnessed by a Justice of the Peace or the Returning Officer. The candidateís signature may be witnessed by someone of his or her choice.

Nomination forms can be obtained from the Administratorís Office or Mrs Sandra Benjamin, Clerk of Council.Completed Nomination forms will be accepted by the Returning Officer, Mr Alan Nicholls, at the Administration Office, Georgetownbetween the hours of and on Tuesday 19th October 2010.
