A leaflet entitled “Guide for Businesses; Land and Business Policy” is available to assist you and is obtainable from the Administration Department, Island Building.
Under the terms of the Land and Business Policy for Ascension Island, a Land Occupancy Permit will be issued to the successful applicant which will be valid until end contract date of the applicant or applicants spouse, whichever is appropriate.
An annual fee of £1656 (i.e. £138 per month) will be charged for the permit, plus Property Tax of £652.50 per annum (i.e. £54.38 per month). Utilities and building maintenance costs will be the responsibility of the business operator.
The building may not be used, wholly or in part, as residential accommodation, nor for any other purpose other than that set out in the permit.
