2% pay rise for all Government employees. The pay rise is to be backdated to 1 April 2007

This afternoon, His Excellency the Governor announced a 2% pay rise for all Government employees.

The pay rise is to be backdated to 1 April 2007 and applies to established, un-established and part-time staff. In addition, pensioners will benefit from a 2% increase.

The last increase was made in 2006.
