On Thursday 9th November 2006 there was a certificate presentation for some members of the Conservation Department and some members of the Works Department.

On Thursday 9th November 2006 there was a certificate presentation for some members of the Conservation Department and some members of the Works Department. The certificates were presented by Dick Beales from the Department for International Development (DFID). Participants had successfully passed Lantra Skills awards for using Chainsaw and Strimmers. The training done as part of a project entitled “Improving Access to Green Mountain” which is funded by OTEP (Overseas Territories Environment Programme). The Works Department took the opportunity on this evening to present Kevin Williams the Environmental Health Officer with certificates of passing in the Biology in Insects and Rodent Control.
