Georgetown - District Knockout Champions
Saturday we saw the end of the first half of our Sports Tournament with the finals of the District Knockout Cricket and League Rounders Competitions until September, as we all know now Georgetown are the District Winners and US.Base in second place. And Merry Makers are the League Rounders Winners with Leftover as Runners –Up for Season 2005.
Congratulations to all six teams on their achievements as Georgetown and HTH Utd are Winners and Runners –up for the League Football Competition respectively.
A big thank you to all our Sports Teams for their good sportsmanship through out the
Competitions. Thanks also to our Rounders and Cricket Umpires and our Football
Referee’s who was always willing to give up their time to help, thanks to our
supporters for been there each week supporting their teams, thanks to AIS and
Interservice Maintenance Teams for their good work in maintaining the field, thanks
also to the RAF for the use of their Sports Field. And thanks to all of you who have
help in anyway but hasn’t been mention without you it could not have been another
successful Football, Cricket and Rounders Competition.
